Ceface CV 500 mg/125 mg Tablet is used to treat various bacterial infections such as pharyngitis/tonsillitis, otitis media (ear infections), sinusitis (infection of the sinuses), gonorrhoea (sexually transmitted disease), septicaemia (bloodstream infection), meningitis (inflammation of the brain and spinal cord), lower respiratory tract, skin, urinary tract, bone, and joint infections.
Ceface CV 500 mg/125 mg Tablet is a combination of cefuroxime and clavulanic acid. Cefuroxime works by preventing the formation of the bacterial cell covering. Clavulanic acid works by decreasing bacterial resistance and enhancing the activity of cefuroxime against the bacteria.
