Cortel Trio Tablet is primarily given for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure). Hypertension or high blood pressure is a chronic condition in which the force exerted by the blood against the artery wall is high.

Cortel Trio Tablet is a combination of Telmisartan, Amlodipine, and Hydrochlorothiazide, which works by blocking the action of certain substances that are responsible for tightening the blood vessels. This medicine helps to lower high blood pressure, thus reducing the chances of future heart attack and stroke.

In some cases, Cortel Trio Tablet may cause common side effects like ankle swelling, headache, dizziness, tiredness, taste change, muscle weakness, dry mouth, and extreme thirst. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist, reach out to your doctor.
