Duonem Er 300 mg Tablet Er is an antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections affecting the nose, throat, lungs, urinary tract, skin, etc., especially when other antibiotics are ineffective. Duonem Er 300 mg Tablet Er should only be used to treat infections caused by bacteria and not fungi or viruses. It works by killing the infection-causing bacteria. Duonem Er 300 mg Tablet Er can cause some common side effects such as stomach pain, headache, weakness, nausea, and vomiting. Consult your doctor if they persist or become severe. Avoid activities that require high mental alertness like driving vehicles and operating machines as it may cause dizziness. Avoid taking this medicine if you are allergic to it. Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated while taking this medicine, as it can cause diarrhoea, which may lead to dehydration. Duonem Er 300 mg Tablet Er may be taken with or without food. For the ease of remembering, take this medicine around the same time every day. Once you start taking an antibiotic, always complete the entire course of treatment to prevent the risk of re-infection and the development of antibiotic resistance (microorganisms develop the ability to defeat the medicines intended to kill them). Also, avoid taking it without your doctor’s prescription, as any unnecessary use of an antibiotic can make it less effective against future infections.
