Immu C-Plus Chewable Tablet belongs to the class of ‘nutritional supplements,’ primarily used to boost immunity and help the body fight against various infections. Immu C-Plus Chewable Tablet also helps in improving nutritional deficiencies. Immunity is termed as the capability to resist a disease/an infection by preventing the development of harmful microorganisms or counteracting its effects. Immu C-Plus Chewable Tablet is a combination of Ascorbic acid (Vitamin C), Vitamin D2 (Ergocalciferol), and Zinc. Vitamin C is a water-soluble vitamin and an antioxidant that prevents cell damage. It enhances iron absorption from foods and boosts immunity. Vitamin D2 helps maintain blood calcium and phosphorus levels and mineralisation of bone. It is used to treat and prevent bone disorders, such as rickets and osteomalacia. Zinc is a mineral that promotes the growth and development of body tissues. It is essential for vision, fighting against rhinoviruses (that cause the common cold), immune function, bone metabolism, taste, wound healing, insulin production, blood clotting, and thyroid function.
