Adryl syrup

Adryl 10mg Syrup is an antihistaminic medicine. It is used to treat symptoms of nasal allergy such as sneezing, runny nose, itching, and watery eyes. It may also be used to treat insomnia and motion sickness.

Adryl 10mg Syrup is best taken before a meal or at bedtime. Take it exactly as prescribed by your doctor. The dose and how often you take it depends on what you are taking it for. Your doctor will decide how much you need to improve your symptoms. Take it for as long as it is prescribed for you. In case, you have missed any doses, take the next dose as soon as you remember it. However, you should never take a double dose.

• Relief from allergy symptoms: This covers conditions like hay fever (allergic rhinitis), hives (urticaria), itching, runny nose, sneezing, and watery eyes.
• Cough and cold treatment: It helps relieve coughs by reducing irritation and, in combination formulas, loosening thick mucus in the airways to make it easier to cough out.
• Motion sickness prevention and treatment: It can be used to prevent nausea and vomiting associated with motion.
• Short-term management of insomnia: Due to its sedative properties, it is sometimes used as a temporary sleep aid.
• Other conditions: It may occasionally be used to manage certain symptoms of Parkinsonism and other pruritic (itching) skin conditions.
