Composition: Disodium Hydrogen Citrate 1.4Gm/5Ml

• Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs): It provides symptomatic relief from the burning sensation, pain, and discomfort associated with UTIs by reducing the acidity of the urine. It is typically used as an adjunct (additional) therapy alongside antibiotics.
• Kidney Stones: The syrup helps to prevent the formation of certain types of kidney stones (such as uric acid, cystine, and calcium oxalate stones) and can even help dissolve small existing ones.
• Gout and High Uric Acid Levels: By aiding the excretion of excess uric acid from the blood through the urine, Alkasol helps lower uric acid levels in the body, which reduces the risk of gout attacks and joint pain.
• Renal Tubular Acidosis (RTA): It is also used to correct metabolic acidosis, a condition where the blood pH is too low.
• Painful or Frequent Urination: It can relieve the irritation and discomfort caused by overly acidic urine in the bladder and urethra.
