Arip Mt 20 MG Tablet is an antipsychotic medicine containing Aripiprazole. It is used for the treatment of mental disorders like Schizophrenia (a person develops unreal thoughts and behaviour) and bipolar disorder (changes in a person’s mood, energy, and ability to think clearly). This medicine can only control the symptoms but cannot cure the condition. Arip Mt 20 MG Tablet works by altering the activity of certain chemical substances in the brain. Arip Mt 20 MG Tablet can cause side effects like headache, constipation, nausea, vomiting, tremor, restlessness, etc. Consult your doctor if these side effects persist or worsen. Avoid driving vehicles or operating machines as this medicine can make you feel dizzy or drowsy. Arip Mt 20 MG Tablet may be taken with or without food. The dose and duration of treatment will be decided by your doctor based on your clinical condition. Take Arip Mt 20 MG Tablet at the same time every day to maintain a constant level of medicine in your body. Do not stop taking Arip Mt 20 MG Tablet suddenly without consulting your doctor, as it may cause withdrawal symptoms. Arip Mt 20 MG Tablet is not recommended for use if you are allergic to it. Inform your doctor about your current medications and existing medical conditions before starting the treatment with this medicine. This will help your doctor to adjust your dose to avoid undesired effects. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or are breastfeeding.
- Schizophrenia: Management of symptoms such as hallucinations, delusions, and disorganized thoughts and behavior in adults and adolescents (aged 13 years and older).
- Bipolar I Disorder: Treatment of acute manic and mixed episodes in adults and children (aged 10 years and older), helping to stabilize mood and reduce irritability and hyperactivity.
- Major Depressive Disorder (MDD): Used as an adjunctive therapy (in combination with other antidepressants) when antidepressants alone are not effective.
- Irritability Associated with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD): Management of symptoms like aggression, mood swings, and tantrums in children (aged over 6 years).
