Betaloc 25 MG Tablet is used to treat high blood pressure, angina pectoris (chest pain or discomfort caused when your heart muscle does not get enough oxygen-rich blood), arrhythmia (irregular heartbeat), thyrotoxicosis (the symptoms caused by the overactive thyroid gland). It also prevents migraines (severe headache accompanied by sensitivity to light) and heart damage following a heart attack. Betaloc 25 MG Tablet slows down the activity of your heart, allowing your heart to beat less forcefully. Thus, this medicine helps to prevent abnormally fast heartbeats. It also reduces the blood pressure in your body. Betaloc 25 MG Tablet may cause some side effects like dizziness, headache, breathing difficulty, and low blood pressure. If you feel dizzy or tired, care must be taken while driving vehicles or operating machines. Do not take this medicine if you are previously allergic to it. Betaloc 25 MG Tablet can be taken with or without food. For the ease of remembering, take this medicine around the same time every day. Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor tells you to do so. Betaloc 25 MG Tablet may interact with the action of other medicines. Inform your doctor about any other health issues you have or if you are undergoing any medical treatment before taking this medicine. Consult your doctor before taking this medicine if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or are breastfeeding.
