Af Tablet contains Fluconazole, which is an antifungal. It blocks the formation of the cell membrane of the fungus by inhibiting an enzyme. Thus the fungi stop multiplying or die because of non-forma
tion of complete cell membrane. It is not effective against virus or bacteria. Take this medicine as prescribed by your doctor at a fixed timing to gain optimal benefits. Pregnant and nursing women should not take this medicine. Inform your doctor if you get pregnant while on this medicine or think you may be pregnant. It is recommended to use contraception at least for one week even after stopping the medicine. The most common side effects of this medicine are abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, headache, diarrhoea. However, these symptoms of side effects are temporary and go away on their own. If these symptoms do not resolve or worsen, consult with your doctor.
