Introduction

Alerid Tablet is an antihistamine medication used to relieve symptoms of allergies, including sneezing, runny nose, itching, watery eyes, and hives. It contains cetirizine, which helps block the action of histamine, a substance responsible for allergic symptoms.

• Allergic Rhinitis (Hay Fever): Relieves symptoms such as a blocked or runny nose, sneezing, and an itchy nose or throat.
• Eye Allergies: Eases red, itchy, and watery eyes (conjunctivitis).
• Skin Reactions: Helps manage symptoms of hives (urticaria), eczema, rash, swelling, itching, and irritation, including reactions to insect bites and stings.
• Common Cold Symptoms: Can alleviate allergy-related cold symptoms like a runny nose, though it’s not a treatment for a viral infection itself.
