Althrocin 250mg Tab 10’s

Althrocin 250 MG Tablet is a macrolide antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections of the lungs, skin, bones, stomach, and intestine. It can be also used with other antibiotics to treat certain infections caused by sexually transmitted organisms like Chlamydia trachomatis, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, etc. This medicine kills or stops the growth of bacteria causing the infection. It is not effective against infections caused by viruses.

• Respiratory Tract: Infections of the lungs, chest (pneumonia, bronchitis), throat, and sinuses.
• Skin and Tissues: Conditions such as acne, rosacea, and general skin infections.
• Ears, Nose, and Mouth: Ear, nose, throat, and dental infections.
• Stomach and Intestines: Certain stomach and intestinal infections.
• Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs): Including chlamydia and syphilis.
• Other Uses: Prevention of recurrent rheumatic fever, and treatment of specific serious infections like diphtheria and whooping cough (pertussis).
