Amlodac CH Tablet is a combination medicine used for the treatment of high blood pressure, angina pectoris, etc. Frequent monitoring of blood pressure and electrolytes level is necessary while taking this medicine. • Hypertension (High Blood Pressure): The main use of Amlodac CH is to manage consistently high blood pressure.
• Prevention of Cardiovascular Events: It helps in the prevention of heart attacks and strokes by reducing the strain on the heart and improving blood flow.
• Edema (Fluid Retention): The diuretic component (Chlorthalidone) helps eliminate excess salt and water from the body, which can reduce swelling (edema) in the hands, ankles, and feet associated with heart, liver, or kidney conditions.
• Angina (Chest Pain): Amlodipine, one of the active ingredients, is also used to manage certain types of chest pain (angina) by improving blood supply to the heart muscle.
