Ampoxin 500 capsule is an antibiotic medicine. It is used to treat various bacterial infections of the lungs, throat, airways, skin, soft tissues, bones, ears, noses, and wounds after surgery caused by various organisms. Ampoxin contains ampicillin and cloxacillin as its active ingredients. It belongs to the ‘Penicillin’ class of antibiotics.

• Respiratory tract infections: Such as pneumonia, bronchitis, tonsillitis, pharyngitis, and sinusitis.
• Ear, nose, and throat (ENT) infections.
• Urinary tract infections (UTIs).
• Skin and soft tissue infections: Including abscesses, boils, and cellulitis.
• Bone and joint infections: Such as osteomyelitis.
• Gastrointestinal infections.
• Post-operative wound infections.
• Other severe infections: Including meningitis, septicaemia (bloodstream infections), and endocarditis.
