Asthakind LS Drops 15ml

Asthakind Ls Oral Drop is a paediatric preparation. It contains a combination of ambroxol, guaifenesin and levosalbutamol. Asthakind Ls Oral Drop is used in children for the treatment of productive cough associated with spasms or constriction of airways in conditions such as bronchitis and bronchial asthma.

It is also used for all conditions associated with thick mucous, wheezing and chest congestion. It works by relaxing the muscles of the airways and making them cough less thick which can be expelled out easily. For children, this medicine should be used under adult supervision.

According to the advisory issued by the Union Health Ministry, cough and cold medications should not be prescribed or dispensed to children under two years of age. These medications are generally not recommended for children under five years old. For children above that age, any use should be based on careful clinical evaluation and close supervision.
