Asthakind P Drops 15ml

Asthakind-P drops are a cough and cold preparation for children. It has a combination of ambroxol, guaiphenesin and terbutaline as its active ingredients. It is used to treat wet cough in children. Asthakind-P drops help in the expulsion of mucus and reduce cough and breathlessness. This medicine should be used cautiously if your child has liver or kidney-related problems. These drops should not be given with any other cough or cold medicines. If your child does not feel any relief and has a persistent cough along with fever and other additional symptoms, stop giving this medicine and consult a physician. Before using Asthakind-P drops in your child, inform your doctor about your child’s detailed medical history.

According to the advisory issued by the Union Health Ministry, cough and cold medications should not be prescribed or dispensed to children under two years of age. These medications are generally not recommended for children under five years old. For children above that age, any use should be based on careful clinical evaluation and close supervision.
