Augmentin 625 Duo tablet is an antibiotic used to treat a wide range of bacterial infections. It treats infections of the lungs, airways, ears, urinary tract, skin, bones, joints, soft tissue, and teeth or dental infections. Augmentin 625 contains a combination of amoxicillin and clavulanic acid as its active ingredients.

Augmentin 625 Duo works by combining the effects of its two components. Amoxicillin kills the bacteria responsible for infections. Other tablets containing amoxicillin and clavulanic acid include Amoxyclav 625mg, Moxikind Cv 625mg, Clavam 625, and Moxclav 625mg.

You should take Augmentin 625 Duo tablets as advised by your doctor for the prescribed duration. It is recommended to take this tablet with meals to prevent stomach upset. Always complete the full course of treatment with this medicine. Incomplete treatment may lead to treatment failure and increase the risk of re-infection.

This medication should not be used during pregnancy. Please inform your doctor if you are allergic to any antibiotics, are taking other medications, or have any pre-existing medical condition.
