A cough suppressant used for relief of a dry, non-productive cough. It works by acting directly on the cough center in the brain to reduce the urge to cough. It provides symptomatic relief without causing drowsiness at recommended doses. It can be taken with or without food. It may cause dizziness or stomach upset.
