Caldan Tab 15’s

This medication contains vitamin D3 and elemental calcium. It is used for osteoporosis, rickets & osteomalacia, post-menopausal osteoporosis, nutrutional deficiency, deficiency due to malabsorption states of liver, hypocalcemia due to hypoparathyroidism.

• Treatment of Osteoporosis: Helps strengthen bones and reduce the risk of fractures in people with brittle or porous bones.
• Management of Vitamin D and Calcium Deficiency: Used when the diet alone cannot provide the necessary amounts of these minerals.
• Treatment of Osteomalacia/Rickets: Addresses the softening or deformity of bones caused by a lack of vitamin D, particularly in children (rickets) and adults (osteomalacia).
• Support for Specific Populations: It is also used in the elderly, pregnant, or breastfeeding women who have increased needs for calcium and vitamin D, but only as advised by a doctor.
