Feronia-XT Suspension belongs to a class of medications called ‘haematinics’ used to treat anaemia (lack of blood) due to iron deficiency and chronic kidney disease. Anaemia is a condition in which the body does not have enough red blood cells to carry adequate oxygen to various body tissues.

Feronia-XT Suspension contains Ferrous ascorbate, which is a combination of iron and vitamin C. Iron works by replenishing iron stores, and vitamin C enhances iron absorption in the body. Thus, Feronia-XT Suspension helps to treat iron deficiency.
