Description
- Active Ingredient: The primary active ingredient is usually Ketoconazole (typically 2% w/w). Some variations may also include an antiseptic agent like Cetrimide.
- Mechanism of Action: Ketoconazole works by killing and stopping the growth of fungi. It does this by damaging the fungal cell membranes, which are essential for their survival, thereby clearing the infection.

Uses
The soap is used to treat various fungal and yeast infections of the skin and scalp, including:
- Athlete’s foot (tinea pedis)
- Ringworm (tinea corporis)
- Jock itch (tinea cruris)
- Dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis (flaky skin on the scalp, face, chest, or back)
- Yeast infections and candidiasis (thrush, sweat rash)
